Flinn Scholarship Program

Any senior who is in the top 5%, has an unweighted GPA above a 3.5, has scored a 1300 on the reading and writing of the SAT or a 29 on the ACT and exhibits substantive extracurricular inolvment and demonstrates leadership, and will be attending one of the state universities can apply. U of AZ BAird Scholarship

Any senior who will be attending the U of AZ in the fall, has a GPA above a 3.5, and demonstrates leadership qualities can be considered for this 10,000.00 per year scholarship. Only one student from Cienega can be nominated. Complete the application packet and return it to Mr. Tritz by 10/10. The scholarship committee will select one student to subit the applicatio to U of A which is due by 10/19. Packets available in the 100 counselor area.

Horatio Alger Association Scholarship Program

The Horatio Alger Scholarship program offers scholarships valued from $5000. to $20,000.00. This opportunity is open to seniors graduating in May of 2014 and committed to pursuing a bachelor degree. The program provides financial assistance to students who have financial need and have exhibited integrity, and perserverancein overcoming personal adversity.
